Component speakers in 2008 c300
I have a 08' c300 sport, no harmon kardon, just audio 20. I recently swapped out both front stock tweeters with the hk logic7 tweeters, and it sounds better. However, I'm installing some kappa component 6.5 speakers into the door and dont know if I should use the kappa tweeters, or just leave the hk tweeters in. I literally just paid 40 bucks for each hk tweeter, so I'm kinda torn. Additionally, if I left the hk tweeters in (they have their own built in bass blocker capacitor) , could I still wire them up to the infinity crossover, this way if I decide to swap them out for the kappas, i dont have to pull my door apart again. Assuming the hk tweeters are 4 ohms and the kappas mids are like 2.3 ohms, i read the crossover would also help even out any differences in ohms for a better sound and consistent volume. Appreciate your advice... Thank you.
