Bought a 2013 C300 4Matic. Should I opt for the (Canada) Extended Limited Warranty?

Bought a 2013 C300 4Matic. Should I opt for the (Canada) Extended Limited Warranty?
I just bought a 2013 C300 4Matic. The only decision left to make is whether or not to take the Extended Limited Warranty. The car is CPO and comes with a Mercedes Canada "Star Certified" warranty, that all CPO Mercedes sold from a Mercedes dealership come with. Is it worth taking the extended warranty? It's the same term length. All it does is increase what the included warranty covers. They were asking roughly $2,500CAD with an option to get a 3 year, where it goes back to the "standard" Star Certified warranty for a couple hundred bucks. There was some discount going on and I can't remember the specifics. But I guess the point is, do these extended warranties pay off on used Mercedes? Specifically a late model W204. The car has 50,000km on it.

Tough call, up good question.
I just traded my 2013 sedan in with 91,500km or so.
Only issue I had was the "chrome" peeling back on the steering wheel. Service centre had the actual MB rep look at it and he had them replace it free of charge.
This is a great car...treat it right and she'll last a good long while.
I only traded mine in because I'm terrible at holding on to vehicles any longer than 4 years...

Yes tough decision. You have a 750$ discount if you take it. My brother in law lease the same car and never had one problem, last month he took it back (78 000km). My 2 cents, for a peace of mind, I'll go for it.
Plus Mercedes Benz Canada offers for 5 years (1400$) rims and tires damages. If anything happens to your rims and tires, they'll change it.
