Difference between C200 and C250
Hello,
we all know that W204 C250 (204hp) or C220 (170hp) is Quite more expensive than C200 (136hp) and as I see, it has the same engine 2143ccm. If I manually chiptuning the C200 I can get from 136hp to around 170hp. The same if I chiptuning C220 I can get from 170hp to 210hp, the same for C250, I can get from 205hp to around 240hp. Thats why I was wondering why I can't chiptuning the same much C200 as C250. Where is the main difference? Which parts are different? Otherwise I could chip C220 as much as C250. If only electronic is different I could chip C200 with 136hp as much as C250 to around 250hp. Am I right?
Thank you in advance.

Except that the 180 , 200 and 250 cgi ecu's are still locked and not chiptune able as far as I know. Ive seen a few company saying they unlocked the ech but yet have to see a solid dyno run to back it up.

Tuning C250
I tried tuning my C250 a year and a half ago, ran fine on the dyno but I wasn’t allowed to be in their and had to wait in a waiting room. Almost as soon as I left the wngine light came on, eventually needed a new ECU because even after resetting it, the ECU locked the engine management light on.
Ran 250bhp up from 204bhp, wasn’t really worth it.

The C250 in my garage - alongside a second German car - is a much more attractive vehicle.
The other car is superbly fuel efficient - most notably on the Interstate.
The C250 is a coupe in Iridium Silver - The other car - a 4 door sedan - is white (and seldom needs washing)
Most of all they have - since new - been free of issues.
