Any data on this yet FCP? I ordered your transmission service kit for the 722.9 which only included 6L of the Pentosin atf 134, fluid not really thinking about the rest of the fluid needed for the TC. :0
Now my ML320 CDI is sitting waiting for more transmission fluid. XD
Advance auto parts has the Pentosin atf1 LV for $10 a L, and i'm thinking about going that route. But i would really like to know the fluid compatibility between the 134 and the 1LV. Is the 1LV really just repackaged 134?
Pentosin is a high quality brand, i don't see them advertising something as compatible with 236.14 spec if it isn't.

ATF 134 is the replacement for 1LV. Unfortunately I do not have definitive data on if this was a simple change in the packaging. If you need additional fluid to do the TC, 1LV can be used.

236.14 with the OEM MB labels are not really that special in terms of protection and performance versus technology available in the marketplace. Take a deep breath and realize the spec is set, MB is done with it, and it is not Mount Everest. It is merely the base of the mountain for what can be improved in it.

It isn't bad, but the world has advanced in terms of chemistry, for transmission fluids, since MB developed this fluid known as 236.14.

This aside the 722.9 has issues MB knows about and does a fantastic job of trying to relieve the pains of failure.

There is a person that has solved many of the issues with a common issue with the 722.9. Fluid technology separate, this is a good site to visit and get help from when the dealer sees in their system your 722.9 is OUT OF WARRANTY.. You are then a different person to them.

Here you go. George is the Jedi for a 722.9 So much so that MB even acknowledges this.
If you hate "going to the mechanic or dealership" your world just got a lot better.
Your 722.9 will finally live up to its name for performance after he"hardens" it and fixes it like it should have been fixed the 1st time.
WARNING: This site is NOT LIKED BY MB Dealerships. They will advise you NOT to send your parts there.
Ignore them and escape the 722.9 Monkeyland.

George is always smiling. I believe he is Persian. But regardless he is simply a dedicated and amazing professional.

The MBWORLD Forum Administrators should feature him in a professional interview.
