HI All,

This morning i started my 2010 C300 and received several messages on the dash.

The message read : Power steering Malfunction , ABS, ESC and EBD malfunctions.

What could be the issue? Can someone help me?

*i had a wheel alignment and tire change recently, I'm unsure if these can be related*

breaking light switch. had the same problem view weeks ago. unless your steering wheel is working not normal. good luck hope this helped you. easy and cheap fix. you can even do it yourself just get the part and you can find more then enough instructions online (google,youtube etc)

Why would a POWER STEERING MALFUNCTION occur with a faulty break light switch? That seems odd....

Why can't they recall these cars? I payed $2000 for the same issue. I AM SO SICK OFIT

So I have this problem right now but I'm pretty sure I did it...what was your solution from dealer that cost 2k?

They replace the locking steering mechanism, and they have to recode my key as well...
That's what they told me.

That sounds like a completely different issue.

I also had the same issue,

Later found out my problem was from the hand break.
I put off the car, and depressed and released the hand break several times, and started the car again. I accelerated passed 20Miles without the error coming back.

I had the same issue today right after I filled up my C300 2010 with gas. Must be a software issue as my steering was fine. Parked and restarted the car and it went away.
