Bluetooth Ipod adapter Problems

Hi all,
New 2010 C300 here and im trying to add a bluetooth ipod adapter. I've gone through a few the last one being a CoolStream Car Pro. I got it all paird to my iPhone 8 and the phone streams the audio but the cars command system shows the device as incompatible. Im running command version 09.09.00 if that makes any difference. I just ordered a 2017 map update disk hoping it would update command maybe fixing my issues. Im at a loss though. I do not want to go the bluetooth AUX route because I want to be able to control my music from the command system. Any Ideas?

you could try one of these, if you have the media interface plug in your glove box or arm rest..
also, the map update isnt going to do anything besides update the map.
