Gasoline Smell

Most of the times, the C300 is parked outside. However, as my E320 is at the dealership to have the fuel system warranty taken care of, the C has been parked inside.

I have noticed a gasoline smell in the garage, when the C is parked in there, it is worse after fill up.

Anyone else have this issue and what is the solution to this problem? is it similar to what I am going through with me E right now due to leaking gas tank/fuel system components?

Thanks in advance.

get those long lighters, ignite the flame, touch the floor and walk around. Once fire is produced let it burn to find where it is coming from. Just a thought

If you fill the tank and top it off you'll get the gas smell. The fumes have to go somewhere and your garage is the place. Nothing to worry about.

Excellent thought, Thank you very much.

That would quickly eliminate the fact that I would have a thread with 80 PLUS replies. Did you see that thread?? A young kid whining about getting his first ticket ever, even though he is the very best driver out there, ......... Hilarious.

I think he is the same guy asking for opinions about his souped up car, but he bought a W204 and ended up on this forum, rather than the forum for the FAST and FURIOUS Honda Civic Owners.

It is pretty funny, you should read both!

Thanks very much Cardfan91. Most of us indeed do have constructive input on this forum.

Thanks again, greatly appreciated.

Thank you, but we have enough drama without your help. Take a break for a couple days.
