Should I be ballsy and have 2 x-pipes on my car? I have one in place of the secondary cats and I am thinking about the resonator. I want my car louder, but how do you think it would sound.

Stop playing around and remove the mufflers already. What you have is the mod bug, and it will not go away until you hit a tipping point, which IMO is when you go full retard and do straight pipes.

Funny thing is, I have already taken them off. I always get compliments on how it sounds, someone once told me it sounded like a ferrari (prob not a good thing when you compare speeds).

This is the same kid that brags about street racing. I think his Daddy should take his car away from him until he is 30 years old.

I have X pipe and no mufflers. I get asked all the time what exhaust I have and people love the sound. Its only really loud if you stomp on it and at highway speeds it get a little annoying. Will Probably put some high flow flowmasters on.

Where is your xpipe in place of resonators or 2nd cats (2 resonators). People absolutely love the sound of mine.

you want to, "make louder" a car that's used to get groceries & pick up the kids from school?
please sell your car and buy a honda or miata to destroy.

this goes into same category as those who put 'exhausts' on pickup trucks.

So you have an x-pipe replacing the 2nd cats and no mufflers but still have the center resonator? Why don't you just put straight pipes in place of the center resonator if you want it louder? X-pipes generally smoothen out the exhaust note. I don't even think the center resonator does much to reduce volume or raspiness. Towards the beginning of this forum, the whole replacing the center resonator with a Magnaflow x-pipe was a big thing, and the difference between stock and that setup was almost unnoticeable.

I have straight pipes in place of 2nd cats, x-pipe in place of center resonator, and stock mufflers. Perfect volume in my opinion.

Update on what has happened- on Thursday I received my exhaust valve cutouts, on Friday I went to an exhaust shop, as we are looking under the car there is no room to fit the mechanics for the cutout. I take off my resonator and put straights, it sounded disgusting, when I say that I mean like disgusting as ****. I now have no interest in modifying my exhaust as it already sounds nice ( I don’t know why I wasted $100 to test this **** out)

I have muffler delete’s, and an X-Pipe in place of the resonator. It is plenty loud.
