Hi everyone

I've searched everywhere looking for someone who could help me with an issue regarding fuse no 48 that keeps blowing now and then but I can't find anything.


Problem Fuse indicated in RED

This fuse is one of the Engine Electronics fuses and when it blows, the engine(While in motion and static) dies and it will not start.
Engine turns and starter works and you can hear the petrol pump activate before ignition.

I had the front SAM unit refurbished and this 15amp fuse keeps blowing.
Car drives fine and idle is also good unless I have it in drive where the engine shakes a little but I believe that's a different issue.

Can anyone help me with this? This issue is making me anxious when I have to drive home in traffic hoping the fuse won't blow again.
What can cause this specific fuse to blow?

If there is a thread covering this then please let me know with a link and I will try delete this thread.

The fuse began to blow after the front sam was refurbished or was that a solution that didn’t do anything?

By the looks of it the refurbishing the SAM unit did nothing.

What does this fuse protect exactly?
