Help - Replica Wheel Tool?


Hi all new to this community, i just purchased a set of winter tires and rims for my 2012 c350 (225 45 17 Toyo winter tires and replica alloy rims) the set came with this tool can anyone help me understand what it is for?

Looks like it would hold the wheel to the car while you put in the first bolt.
