2009 C300 Car Won't start
I have been having trouble starting the Car. Door unlocks and locks. Checked Battery, fuses everything is fine. After some playing around started then 2 weeks later same car would not start. Finally took to dealer here is what they said
They suspect it's something to do with my key, and suggested that I get a new one and have them program it to my car, but said they can't guarantee that's going to solve what ever the problem was. They wanted to charge me $485 for a new key and programming - but no guarantee that will fix the problem.
Car starts fine now but I am sure this will happen again.
Any help shedding some light would be greatly appreciated.

Could be anti theft issue. If the dealer or an indie mercedes mechanic put a Mercedes specific code reader on it, they could read the stored codes and do diagnostics on it to get to the heart of the issue. I don't like throwing parts at it.
