3.5 mm jack is for video or audio ?
Does any one know if the 3.55mm jack in the glove box of 2009 C300 is for video or audio

2010 M_B C300 ... Wife drives a 2007 GL450
When you open the passenger side door there should be a panel that can be taken off .. If it's like my 2010 there should be a jack in there connected to the iPod connector .. If possible provide a pic or two

The jack in your glove box is for audio.

It is an auxiliary audio input for plugging in an ipod ect.

So is mine .. But off you pull that side panel where the dash is when you open the passenger for .. That should be removal .. Mince was tucked in there .. I just drilled o hole big enough to fit the plug throw

The 3.5 mm mini jack is only for stereo audio. Video was not available in 2009, nor was MB's UMI Universal Media Interface adaptor compatible for adding video to the folding display in the W204 until late 2010.
Some video interfaces are available, here's one on eBay, some threads in MBW have reported successful installs with different interfaces.
