Just give up, all the new 2019+ steering wheels will not work.

This also means that not only W204 2013 but also W205 2018 can't be upgraded to facelifted W205 steering wheel? Thanks for info.

Hm... As I see Yes. But I asked on Mercedes-Benz about steering wheels and they said that this steering wheel is not the newest. It's newest only for the facelifted C-class and A-class, but for the CLA-class it is the same as for previous C-Class, so... if you use CLA steering wheel on your W204, you will still have the newest steering wheel :-) ..don't worry.
