Need Canbus and OBD-2 details

Hi guys

I want to log the key presses in on my mercedes like steering wheel, window, commander keys etc ...
Need some information on the canbus wiring and OBD-2 port on my 2008 C300.
I tried to find the information on the owners manual but unsuccessful.

I have few questions.
1) There are two canbus on mercedes? CAN-C and CAN-B? what are their operating baudrates?
2) CAN-C is used for engine and CAN-B used for interior communications?
3) Are both CAN-C and CAN-B exposed on the OBD-2 port or only CAN-C?
4) Easiest way to tap into the CAN-B? Hopefully without cutting any wires.

thanks

Hi guys

After some searching. Found some answers.
1) yes and can-c is 500Kbps. Can-b not sure.
2) yes
3) only can-c
4) found this link http://www.carlogic.org/bg/data/MB%20CAN(ICC).pdf which shows the location on w203. might be same for w204

I want to know the part no for plugs that go in the can distribution rail X30 connector, So I can tap onto the can-bus. Check the following pic, the brown and brown-red wires are for can-b.

Do not clean them...... Replace them. Make sure you find out why there was water inside your vehicle. If you don't it is going to happen again.
