2009 c300 w4 door locking problems
I just purchased the car from the auction so i doont know anything about it. The front door locks wont work , i can only manually push them down once the doors are closed. ive been reading the fourms and they say its the door lock actuators . the battery on the car sometimes dies , so i ordred a new one , before i get to install it i see that the door locks work !!!!! but not enough juice in the battery to start the car . then i install the new battery and still same ****. the door locks wont work . it seems that when the battery voltage drops the door locks work. im comfused and need help please.

Chances are there will be a fault code stored in memory that is directly related to this issue. And only a Star diagnostic system will have the capability to read and interpret the code properly!The difference between choices (1) & (2) will likely be the hourly charge. With the latter most likely having a lower rate.
That said, I am not sure the condition of the car or why it was "in auction"... But my guess is if this happens to be a salvaged vehicle, I am not too sure if the dealer will even work on it... But I could be wrong!

Or get one of these ^, you are able to diagnose those kind of faults with one of those. Very useful tool that every mercedes owner without a warranty should have.
