instrument cluster film protection

instrument cluster film protection
hello and thanks in advance for your support.
I've recently have my C250 MY2013. question is simple but I'm not sure about it.
the car is pre-owned, and the first owner was very meticulous and careful with the car.
the instrument cluster (the three instruments) seems to have one protector film, maybe transparent.
the question is: when the car comes new, does the instrument cluster comes protected by some kind of film that has to be removed and the previous owner miss to remove? I question it because in the 4 doors, the silver mercedes benz sign has one transparent protection that still in place....
so should I remove some transparent protection from the instrument cluster (speedometer, tachometer, etc...)?

No, there is no protector film that comes with the car after delivery. Perhaps prior to the PDI, but...after that, no, no film is left.
