Is it recommended to change out the tensioner on high mileage m272 to prevent chain and sprocket wear ? It's such an easy job on the m272 I was thinking of just changing mine out once my alternator goes(tensioner behind the alternator). Or is it a waste of money and just wait until I hear noise on start up ?
