Back up camera
hey guys i have a 2014 c300 4 matic. Whats the best and easiest way to put in a back up camera. If you could post a link for the parts too that would be great.

I installed this one. A PITA to install, but works flawlessly. Really high quality camera with a nicely detailed image. Even has the back-up lines. You'd swear it was factory.

these exact one stay away, you can get same exact crap directly from china for $100, they dont last. its waste of time you endup taking your car apart multiple times and hope your car doesn't go on fire on the side of the road. The product you have mentioned has no brand no name no nothing

That may be so, but i've had it installed in my car for 7 months and, so far, it's worked flawlessly, even at -35 Celsius. Can't ask for more than that!! Install and forget, which is exactly what I was looking for. In my mind, money well spent!!

only one problem that quality varies from batch to batch , its not like an iPhone that is made in China under strict supervision and out of quality parts.

If a product is designed in the states, it does not automatically become superior.

iPhone is only assembled in china. it's designed in USA and many parts form USA are sent to china for assembly.

Apple signs all its products, "Designed by Apple in California," but in the U.S., the design is as far as Apple is willing to go. The tech giant outsources hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs to countries like Mongolia, China, Korea and Taiwan. Probably no parts come from the United States. BUT... lots of companies based in the US (example: Corning - Glass screens) are based in the US, but products are manufactured overseas. Shipping plays a big part of this...

To be honest I would first call the dealer and see how much they are charging. You don't want to install it yourself and end up mis-wiring something and damaging the electronic computers in the car. That would be costly without warranty.

It really isnt difficult. Check youtube. It took me 30 minutes and I wired it to my smart mirror.

im sure there's plenty of good brands that come out of china, that statement would of been true 10-15years ago, and apple products are over priced garbage that are worth a 10th of the price they are sold.

USA isn't the only place on this earth.. Do some research and you will find plenty of good companies that are from China. Obviously the majority are bad but not all of them anymore, china isn't what it was 10-15 years ago.

i don't have to do home work, if you knew a brand out of chine you would name it easily, for example Lenovo however even lenovo is made out of all the IBM stuff and still licensing from IBM

take your pick, CNR has made good progress with public transportation, few good investement compagnies, in general yes they have poor quality but not everything is the point im trying to make here.. Dont forget china's military has equal firepower development as the US and might soon exceed them.
