P2463 error code dpf w204 c220
Hi all recently my engine managment light came on and after checking on a scanner it came up with p2463 dpf build up of soot, I really don't understand why because I drive 40 miles on the motorway everyday and hardly ever do local driving. Does Anybody know what the problem could be? Sombody said it could be a sensor am just struggling to understand how it could be a build up of soot or clogged with driving on motorway everyday. Has anybody had this issue before? And what's best way to fix it? Not sure why revs are not going past 3000 rpm since engine management like came on, very upset with this car is a w204 c220 on 106k miles all help appriciated thanks

Hi.
I had same issue now p244a fault, i will try to change a turbo pressure solenoid valve first, as I have that fault on dash only when driving on 4th gear.... I had same problem with my renault clio a year ago. So more likely its a valve. I got rid of p2463 fault by activating a dpf regeneration process. was driving aroun 90 minutes, as I have two batteries for my laptop. so while it was on, the process was running. blockage decreased from 400% to 36%... Had a limp mode obviously ...no the engine management light fone , pop up only on 4th gear.... I have the obd tool delphi, so I m resetting that issue every time ffs
