Accessory belt, pulleys and tensioner DYI
My car has over 100k miles so I plan to change the belt, pulleys and tensioner. How easy is this to do yourself? My indie charges 1 hour labor. I have tools and am handy but don't want to screw up the car.
Also, is there a way to check the alternator pulley?
Thanks

Very easy. Bought a kit from ECS tuning and it took :30 minutes.
Correction: It was from FCP Euro https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...-272273beltkt1
very easy to do. Not sure about alternato. I spun its pulley and at 97,500 sounded fine.

This diy job is not so bad if you don't rush to do it.
Stay clear from aftermarket parts, it's your own car.
Stealer wanted $200 for just labor so they can pay for
their guest's lounge.

I have done it, no problem. I could however not get the bolt torgue specs from anywhere confirmed, so I torgued it to my experience, no problems.
Theres a pin the replacement tentioner pulley comes with inserted to make it easy to install, keep this and put it in the old tentioner.
In my case the small idler pulley bearing was dry. I also noted a variation in temp gauge, which corrected after replacements.
