Front Dome light not working
So, a few weeks ago, i was on a DYI led strip install to replace the led bulb on the ceiling front dome assembly i already had (the big ones), so i could get more light.
Before that, everything was working right.
I calculated max amp. possible that could be drawn and how much amp. the led strip would require.
I cant tell what was done wrong: or i mixed the positive and negative wires that got a short-circuit or have done a wrong calculation on the led stripe amps, been that above from what the circuit could give.
But my first thought is the first one, as i recall when testing on the left socket.
Since then, i have no light on both front ceiling dome lights (checked with other led bulb and even a voltimeter) by pressing on the button or turn in automatically (example: entering in the car).
If i press the button to turn on the front ceiling dome lights, the yellow light inside the buttons on the front ceiling dome assembly turn off. If i press the button to turn on the rear dome light, the yellow light inside the buttons on the front ceiling dome assembly turn off. Otherwise, everything works.
I know the front and rear dome lights are on the same circuit.
I have checked all possible fuses: all are ok.
The front dome assembly has the part number A2048201723.
So, the bulb sockets looks ok, the connections are all ok, the fuses are ok.
My question is: if i change the front dome ceiling, will all work as good? Or maybe is some module or sam that is fried? But if so, wouldnt a fuse blown before?
Any other idea of what is happening?
Thanks!
