2010 C300 146,340. Codes P0015, P0300 and P0128
Hello
This is my first time posting on here. I apologize if I created this thread in the wrong place. My C300 threw a few codes and I'm not sure if I should add them all on one thread or create a thread for each. But again apologize if I'm doing this incorreclty. The diagnostic tool I'm using is Lemur blue driver to read the codes.
My C300 the 1st codes is P0015 "B" camshaft position - timing over - retarded bank 1. I tried changing out the camshaft position sensor but I still have the code. Can it be the magnets and what does "B" mean and is bank 1 the passenger side where cylinder 1 is located?
the second code is P0300. At first it was p0302 so I tried swapping the ignition coil on cylinder 2 with cylinder 3. It still gave me the P0302 code for a couple of days and this morning when I got in my car to head for work, the motor sounded rough and extremely shaky. And when I checked the bluedriver
Thats when I got the new code P0300 Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. About 2month ago I changed the spark plugs due to the P0302 code but nothing changed.
and the 3rd code is P0128. Coolant thermostat (coolant temperature below thermostat stat regulating temperature) it tells me to replace the three disc thermostat valve. And when I went to the auto supply place to get one, he looked at me wierd and didn't know what that was. But I did get a thermostat that comes in the housing and replaced it but I'm still getting the code. Is the 3 disc thermostat valve a different piece? What other problem can it be?
I been trying to look up these issues online and can't find any info anywhere. Can anyone please help me out. I hope I was able to provide you all with enough information. Thank you very much in advance for your time.
