No not on the picture, but when I installed it on the car I lined those up. But as mentioned, it could still be one turn off, if you know what I mean. Don't know if anyone can tell by looking at the cables for example.
Sorry man but from all the videos and threads I've seen, there isn't a way to tell from looking at the exterior. Most just install and work. Hope you get this **** sorted, it's disappointing to say the least.

Don't worry mate, I removed the steering wheel again and turned the clock spring all the way to the left. Then counted turns all the way to the right and halfed it to find the center. Works great now.
You might have seen my other post about retrofitting a CLA steering wheel, and the w212 column was DoA.
I managed to take it apart and replace the clock spring inside. I found one for almost nothing, it didn't fit at first, but I managed to modify it by cutting off some plastic.
