Hey all.. I have decided to install a Dashcam in my car. Been doing some research but there are so many models to choose from. I also read one post about choosing a dashcam with capacitor based rather than battery. Found videos online but most of W205 cars or prelifted W204 from 2008-2012. I have never installed something like this before even in my previous cars so I am bit hesitant. Have few questions :

1) Any recommendations on the models ?

2) Does anyone have detailed instructions or preferably videos of doing it on a 2012-2014 C300 ( What is the difficulty level ?)

3) If I get it installed at a shop what would be the approximate cost of installation ? Any recommendations of shops in and around the Boston area ?
