So today I was upgrading my amplifier for my subwoofers from 8 gauge wire to 4 gauge wire. I connected the wire to the power distribution block connected to the battery in the car and it had a massive spark and after that didn't spark or anything. I then went to turn the car on and suddenly it would crank and not turn over. So I went through the full diagnostic - checked all fuses with multimeter, checked oil, fuel level. I've narrowed the problem down to a blown fuse in the prefuse box on the passenger side. So I'm going to remove it and replace the fuse - that is if I can even find where to buy the fuse and how to remove the prefuse box. Can anyone help me remove and replace the fuses? I really don't feel like spending $1000 to get it fixed at a dealership. Thanks.
