iPod connectivity.

iPod connectivity.
Hey guys!
I'm new to this forum and owning a 09 C320!
I'm sorry if this has been exactly asked and answered before but I couldn't find anything to suit my exact answer. So I am sorry if this has already been asked.
I'm curios as to why I have the Harman Kardon logic 7 sound system with the flip out nav screen doesn't have a iPod connectivity as such. I have checked the glove box and there is no port in there apart form a AUX port in the side. I didn't have the big chunky connector for the iPod port. So why would I have the best "system" but nothing for a iPod and be able to control it on that big screen along with seeing track titles ect? Is there a possibility I can get the plug installed or is that totally out of the question? I just hate having to touch the iPod when driving!
I looked into bluetooth audio in the engineering menu but no dice! Bluetooth audio would be better we all can't have everything.
