When were camshaft sprockets updated?

When were camshaft sprockets updated?
I read that Marc updated these. Does anyone have evidence when? I am interested in a 2012 C250. If the below is true can I validate via the vin?

This is what I read...
I also know that they updated the camshaft sprockets design, the selonoids and also the aluminium cover of the camshaft sprockets to fix this issue and updated software of ECU.... and from what I know they did this for MY 2012 on..
