Take it to mechanic to diagnose. It could be anything from minor to major.

If at start up - fading with warm-up - this sounds normal (AFAIK - or can tell by the limited info).

Perhaps a dealer/competent indy may provide add'l comfort 4U

Thank you for the reply. However, the rattle sound is not at the start up. It is happen while I am driving around 15-25 km/h at around 1-1.5k rev. I bought my car in Cambodia, so there is no dealer to help me out. I took the car to the mechanic to diagnose, and they said they could not identify the problem and have me drive it for now until it completely break down.

C250s have the M271 engine which is known to suffer from stretched timing chain problems. Do some research on that and you'll find a lot of info. Maybe this could be it.
