2012 C350 Speaker Rattle
Hello everyone. Not to long ago I purchased a C350 CPO which comes with the Harmon Kardon sound system. I've been noticing speaker rattling; more specifically on the driver side. I just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue and if it's worth taking in to the dealership to be looked at. I keep all my sound settings at 0 (in the middle).
Even though my car is CPO, I'm afraid that the service department will say nothing is wrong with the speakers, and to that end, will be charged for the labor used to diagnose the problem. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.
Also, on a an unrelated note, does anyone notice that sound quality using bluetooth is not par with using the iPod integration system? Could it be because I have an older generation iphone (6s)?

Original owner of a 2012 C350 here with 102k miles. No problems with speaker and/or Iphone 6s (which I currently have). No noticeable difference with Bluetooth Audio vs the 30-pin > Lightning cable.

we have a 2014 C250 coupe (new to us 3 months ago) and I do notice the bluetooth sometimes stutters for a second here and there....and of course we are 1 foot away. I didn't notice any distortion from iPhone 6's we have ALTHO check your equalizer settings and put them closer to flat. Any boost in bass or whatever is magnified when the car equalizer gets to it. I do think the speakers are a bit older so they are not as tight as they were new. what ya gonna do...
I find the best audio comes for the SD card if you have one. you can fit so much on the disk (we have 8 gig) and it is flawless
if you ask your dealer to just listen to it, ok ask when you are in for say an oil change, there should be no charge.

My 2012 C300 had a similar problem 1 year ago with rattling and sizzling noises. The dealership said the center speaker was bad and they replaced it. As my car is still under extended warranty, so there was no cost for me.
