Greetings All
I just purchased a 2012 C350 4-matic. Which forum should I be posting in? It is a BlueEfficiency, but I don't see the C350 listed??? Is my car a W204 or W205?

Thanks,
So let me get this straight, my car is a W204 but looks like a W205? I think I understand, it is the facelifted 204 that still kept the same number until 2014 when they called it the W205?

First model year in the US for the W205 was 2015 - it was a complete overhaul outside and in.
If you're in a 2014, its most certainly a W204. Still a great car though. Enjoy!

Canadian model
This looks exactly like the current model year doesen't it?
When I look at the pictures of the cars in the 204 forum they don't look like this. They have round fog lights, and the engine is different.

Now I am really confused. My car does not look like a W205 at all. but it doesn't look like a W204 either.

I'm assuming this thread got moved to the correct section by mods; although I'm suprised that so much of the community can't tell the difference between model years.
I've already interrupted one of your threads but welcome to the forums :]
The w204 platform is composed of 2008-2014 sedan models and 2013-2015 coupe models.
In 2008-early 2012, sedans have different headlights and have foglights. Mid 2012, the facelift occurs - Mercedes has a refresh on their models - not a new car but rather updated. The late-2012+ models have the new headlights, LEDs, and revised interior, as well as engine and updated transmission. They also released the coupe model. This however is the same W204 platform and many of the bulk systems are the same.
W205's look completely different as pictured above.

Thanks, it all makes sense now. What about the Canadian models? Is there any different timing on when the change happened?
