Hi im in an total crisis. I got my motoroil drainplug cracked when torqing it. Now i have manage to get a new oilsump A2710141602 and sealant tube. But when i looking at the current cracked one in the car im not sure i can get it out, i mean i can get the screws out but is it possible to get it out whitout lifting the engine please anyone with experiense?

Hey,
I'm also about to change the oil pan in 1.8 kompressor, it looks familliar. Could you do it in easy way without lifting engine or anything like that?

WIS says to raise the engine and lower the axle carrier.
Or try epoxy putty ! I have used it with success on a marine engine.

Tiged the crack and sealed it with the sump in place but the thread got a bit oval and the end of it a bit melted so im now getting price suggestions to change it. Yes you have to raise the engine
