Unhappy PLEASE HELP!! Misfires, DTC codes!

Hey y’all,

Just picked up a black 2008 C350. Check engine light came on and the codes I received when I scanned it were:

0067
0629
0637
0644
0645
0653

5 of those codes are cylinder misfires, but 0067 (outlet camshaft cylinder bank 1 actuator open circuit) is the code that I think is causing the others. I need help figuring out how to fix this issue because the car does run and drive, however there is a rough idle/vibration, loss of power, and RPM fluctuation.

Thanks!

Had the same problem with my 2009 C300 with similar codes and it was a faulty camshaft position sensor on bank 2 in my case...Peleican site has a nice DIY for changing it out and easy/not expensive to do.. One lister mentioned he had what he thought was the same failure but he ended up needing a crankshaft position sensor. Again plenty of DIY videos showing how...the crank sensor on my experience shows a P00XX code and a no start condition when engine is hot.

Thanks gamma, I ordered a magnet for the one side and I’m going to try the camshaft position sensor as well.
