C200CDi Light and Stutter Issues
Hi all – new member here and joined out of sheer desperation to find resolution to problems currently being experienced with my car (2011 C200 CDi – Facelift). Apologies in advance if my explanations are limited – Unfortunately I’m not mechanical at all. But please note that I do greatly appreciate any assistance 😊
1.) Recently I’ve received a message in the display to check front left dim light. Upon inspection noted that the light is off completely, and secondly that the right light is extremely faint/dull. Took it in to check bulbs and fuses and all was working fine. Any suggestions on next steps to look at, or what possible causes could be? Can it relate to a faulty headlight ballast?
2.) Oftentimes when driving, with the throttle pedal pressed about 50% there’s a stutter that occurs on the car and confirmed with the rev’s continually spiking and dipping quickly for example between 2500-2550, until I either release the throttle or increase throttle pressure. Seems to happen most frequently in second gear accelerating in traffic, and also driving 110-120km/h.
