Purchasing a 2008 - 2011 C Class
My daughter is looking to buy a 2008 thru 2011 C Class Benz soon, can anyone tells me the good and bad about theses models. She's been wanting one for awhile, now she's really to join the Mercedes Benz family. I'm a Acura lover
but she wants her benz. Any information is much appreciated.

My 2011 had two small initial issues all fixed by dealer, loose AC trim piece and engine oil fill opening not deburred.
After that, there has been zero issues for nearly eight years. It's my daughter's commute car. When I drive it, I feel it is just like the first day I drove it off dealer's parking lot.
The only 'bad' thing is the front end is very low. I got some scratches underneath when parking.

Buy a 2011 or 2012 and save yourself a few small problems
Better to pay the extra $1k now than to dip into $2k later over time

2012 C300 4MATIC Sport
I would go for a 2012 to get both the exterior and interior facelift which were well-welcomed for the C-class. The 2011 only got the exterior facelift.
A 2012 with an M272 engine should be plenty reliable. That's what I ended up buying.
