Where do you get tire replacement/alignment service?
Hi everyone,
I own a 2013 C300. Due to the crazy road condition in Boston, I on average have to pay around $1000 at Herb Chambers(authorized dealership) on tire replacement/alignment, and I’m now starting to explore cheaper places for tire replacement service.
Just wondering, do you guys get the tire replacement/alignment work done at non-authorized-dealership places (like any auto repair place)? I never tried other places before.
Thanks!

heck most dealerships around here ub out tire work so they do not have to invest in the machines.
you sure they are actually doing the work?
if not you can go to any reputable tire shop to get tires and alignments.... do not like how you call it NON-AUTHORIZED
No law against it.

My favorite store is discount tires. Getting expensive tires was costing too much so I tried Barum Bravarius from discount tires and I’ve been happy with them. ~350$ for the set plus install.

About four years ago I replaced rear tires at Pep Boys. They ordered wrong sizes so I had to wait much longer almost a whole Saturday.
Last week I replaced all four tires at Costco, Michelin Pilot Sport a//S 3+ for $620 or so. My 2011 never needed alignment, always going straight.
99% times I got all my car tires from Costco.

I believe they’re made in the Czech Republic and the company is owned by Continental. I have about 4K miles and they seem to be wearing well. As far as performance/noise I could not tell any difference between them and the pirellis that came stock. At this point I wouldn’t hesitate to get them again.
