brake lights on after EIS problem
Hello folks I am a new member and I have a issue with a 2007 on wards shape C class where it developed the ESL issue I had to remove ESL and EIS and gave both keys to a vehicle lock smith who merged and reprogrammed everything I gave him. Once I re installed the ESL and EIS etc the car started fine but the brake lights remain on all the time ?
This issue is getting me frustrated as I swapped out the brake switch but still no joy. If I disconnect the brake switch (magnetic type not spring) the rear brake lights work fine as they go off and on with the push of the brake pedal. The only issue with leaving switch disconnected is it throws up ESP and runflat errors on display cluster.
