I have two key fobs for my 09. But both are starting to crack on the unlock button. I’d inhave the actual key parts what would i need to do to replace just the fog itself? Is it something that needs to be programmed. If so anyone know how much

I have a key from my old (07) C300. Can I swap the electronics from one to the other? I guess my big question is, am I going to need to go to the dealer for this and pay a crap load?

For anyone who has the same question. I was able to pull the little circuit board from my current key and swap it with the old fob. Worked perfect
