I'm a little new to the 204, but I have recently acquired one with an AUX jack in the glove compartment. How can I install a 30-pin Ipod cable so I can use a bluetooth adapter?

FYI...I have the HK Logic7 system.

You can just get an aux Bluetooth adapter instead.

The ipod-30s are on prefacelift models.

Problem with that is I can't use the steering wheel controls. I have a BT adapter, but it requires power from the cable to light it up, which I can't get from the AUX jack. So my thought was to swap the 3.5mm AUX jack for the actual 30-pin iPod cable, plug in the CarPro BT adapter and away I go. At least in theory.

And I do NOT have the HK Logic7. I have an Audio 20.

You can buy the cable from Ebay...it's about $35 give or take. It's the mercedes OEM mmi cable....I attached a coolpro bluetooth streamer that I got from Amazon to it and it works just fine...I can even use the steering wheel controls, and the song/ artist info appears on screen as well.
