Airbag recall
Just want to encourage everyone to file a complaint on NHTSA about the W204 airbag recall. It's been almost 2.5 years now but a remedy is still not yet available, which is ridiculous..

This has been an official government recall for quite a long time. You can register it at NHTSA if it makes you feel better, but I don't think it will speed up the process. There IS a remedy. It is just so big and affects most car manufacturers that it has taken this long to catch up to the amount of cars affected. Priority is age of the car and where it is located, with the hot humid parts of the country given precedence. You are talking like 40 million cars affected. Frustrating, I can understand, but at this point, it is what it is.
