Shaking and blinking check engine light
Well to start off I changed my transmission oil today as I'm at 150000kms and the oil was looking rather dirty but with no metal bits in it. After it was changed everything was running smoothly for I'd say about 100kms then I got some gas which I know I put premium. Went to a drive in with my girl and went into her car (which died and I boosted correctly as I've boosted cars many times before) once boosting her car I pulled mine over and parked it. After I started it again the car started shaking and the Check Engine light came on and after some time started blinking and going back to solid. I drove it a little bit longer for about maybe 15kms and decided to pull over and do bit of research (most of which said to pull over and not drive anymore, which I did). Now I'm wondering what it could be as I recently did the spark plugs and basic throttle clean and maf clean and thermostat change (bout a month ago and things were running no problems and no lights) . Any idea what it could be?

Typically when you get a misfire so bad it can damage the calalytic converter that is when the check engine light starts blinking. Not saying that is your problem, but at least a logical place to start. As someone else suggested, get the codes read and go from there.

I scanned it and read 15 codes, most of them were misfires, cylinders 4-6 are misfiring and the camshaft sensor is also being lit up. I still don't know if it's just the sensor or the actual coils. Will try some stuff and see what it actually is. Will update if I resolve or if I need to go to the stealership.

15 codes ll at once would be a bad battery. while it may start the car, it might be too low and be causing wild lights and codes. I say start there. Have teh charging system checked

Some of those might be old codes that are no longer valid to what is happening now. Erase all the codes that were on there and then see what comes back. At least then you will know what is happening now and will point you in the right direction.

Since it started after he jumped a car. I would change the battery first.

Update on the shaking and blinking CEL
I changed the camshaft position sensor in bank 2 which the code showed and also got my battery test and charged (which the condition was good). The car is still misfiring. I have also swapped the coils from 'the bad' side to the other and still misfiring but not on the other side still on the original side. I have erased codes but the same ones show up. (not all 15 just 9 now camshaft position sensor p0018, cylinders 4, 5, 6 codes p0304, p0305, p0306 and random misfire p0300) I have no more ideas as to what it could be. Does the car need to be driven in order to reset the sensor or is it automatic? Any suggestions?
