key not detected even after new battery

key not detected even after new battery
so recently ive ran into this issue where sometimes it wont detect my key when i go to start my car but then if i take the key out of my pocket it works just fine? itll sometimes do it while im driving as well but i know its not the batteries because i swapped them in both key fobs. and all of this is at complete random. some days itll be fine and others days itll pop up. idk what else i can look into but both key fobs do it and both have fresh batteries.

If you have your key in your pocket when you go to start the car, then you must have Keyless-Go.
Key in pocket = Intermittent problem. Key out of pocket = All OK.
It sounds like something may be interfering with the signal from the key to the sensor in the car.
Do you carry your key in the same pocket as your cell phone?
I think the sensor is in the bottom of the console. If there are a lot of metal objects or maybe foil in the console storage area, that may be blocking the signal.
Just guessing at this point, but these are quick things to check and cost nothing.
