Viewing volume steps on the head unit (pre-facelift)

We all know there is no visual display of the volume level like on most cars. This makes it frustrating when tuning an amplifier, for example. Some people may prefer it this way but the volume level should at least be displayed in a sub menu somewhere. The only way to view this is through the engineering menu.

1. Enter the engineering menu by pressing and holding "hang-up" + "1" + "#" for about 10 seconds

2. Go to "HU Information"

3. Go to "Amplifier Information"

Minimum is displayed as "-55 dB"

Maximum is displayed as "30 dB"

In short there are 29 steps between minimum and maximum. The first step is 1dB from -55 to -54 with all remaining steps being 3dB.
