Unhappy Aftermarket wheels Lug issues

Hello, I just ran into some issues while trying to install my new MSW Type 30 wheels with summer tires. these puppies
Tire rack provided me with lug bolts, same thread length and overall length as my stock ones except with a conical seat and not a ball one.
When the installer tried to mount the wheels on the car, he said he cannot install them because he only manages 2 turns on the bolt.

Has anyone ran into this problem before? Any recommendations?

You aren’t running spacers I assume?

For grins, with old and new wheel off the car push a lug through and see how many threads stick out on hub side. Assuming bolts are shorter on new wheels your only option is longer bolts. This sure is odd though.

My only guess is that the rim center/hub is thicker than on stock. The rims are at the installer's shop, I'm going to go there this coming week with a caliper to compare stock to aftermarket and see the difference in the protruding bolt.

How many mm longer does the bolt need to be in order to go from 2 to 5-6 turns?

So just as an update, the 30mm bolts that I ordered bottom out on the breaks so I ordered another set of conical seat 28mm bolts (same length as OEM). The tire shop managed to get 5.5-6 turns on each bolt (prior to using the torque wrench).
That should be enough, correct?
