If you are unhappy with the performance of your wipers or just want to update the look of your W204, you can convert the wiper arms from the original side pin design to the later push button type. New wiper blades are required when replacing the arms.
For all 2008-2013 W204 LHD sedan and coupe models (up to 3/2013 production)
Wiper arms:
- Left 204-820-18-44 (Coupe 207-820-08-44)
- Right 204-820-19-44 (Coupe 207-820-09-44)
Wiper arm nut caps:
- 000-998-48-21 (Reuse old caps if desired)
Wiper arm cover:
- 204-832-02-41 (Sedan, left. Included with new arm)
I did the same thing but with facelift 2012 wiper arms. They're also side pin style but smaller so they slot into the wiper rather than go over it. But if I saw this I would've looked for 2014 wiper arms.
I've wondered about this... I live in the Midwest, and it winter it is nice to pull your wipers up off the windshield when snow is expected, such as when at work. With the 'pin' style, I can't trust the wipers will stay on during a very windy day.
