Unhappy OBD port not working

So i bought my car W204 2008 model 2yrs ago, but the AC isn't working ... i managed it throughout last summer like that because i didnt have money to spend on repairing it, So today i took the car for repair , i bought new AC radiator and they filled put refrigrant in the car, after that the AC still didnt work, they tried to diagnosed the car and found out OBD port isn't working, has anyone ever repaired their OBD port before??? is it a big problem? will it cost me alot ?? most of the mechanics i have asked couldn't answer the question, they said they don't repair OBD port

You need to get a better mechanic. What is wrong with the OBD2 port?? Is there no POWER, GROUND, LOW CAN OR HI CAN??? Pin 4 and 5 are ground, Pin 16 is power and 6/14 are for CAN communication. CAN communication goes straight to the Central Gateway which is part of the front SAM.

The FUSE 16 is OK

hi there did you get the solution to make it work?
thanks HARIS AMG

Hi there guy I made my port work turns out it was a blown fuse please make sure you check your fuses before carrying out any other work just to let you know there is a 5 amp fuse which powers the diagnostic port in the front Sam number 16. I watched a video on a c class 204 chassis and the weird guy who has conned everyone including me changed a 10 amp fuse in the boot. This is false the fuse sits at the front of the car. And now mines getting a reading with a multi meter before it wasn’t. Thank you HARIS AMG.

I took my car to a mechanic to diagnose my transmission, and the guy fixed the OBD port without even charging me for it, i guess its truly a minor issue like fuse thats why he didnt even bother to charge me for it, after scanning, he told me my car was vibrating because of misfire, not because of transmission
