Mechanic over-filled engine oil??? (PICTURE)

If you have time on your hands you could lower it or better yet since it is a new car to you change out the oil to a brand you are happy with.
All these new noise are probably here to stay and a future of the engine at the milage it has done.
With regards to the oil since the owner had it changed at a crappy shop you might want to change it because who knows what oil type or weight was actually put in. Use a 229.5 approved synthetic oil with a fleece filter. When I bought my car which was from a Mazda dealership they did change the oil but good thing I changed it 3 months later as oil came out like water (they probably used too thin of an oil) and they used a crappy Fram paper filter. You never know what these shops do sometimes.
The list of 229.5 approved oils can be found here: https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/229.5_en.html
