Sensor came out on pollen filter check

Checking pollen filter, and when I took the panel down, I disconnected the footwell light and a wire to a sensor in the cover as well.
Trouble is, I have also managed to dislodge another sensor, which has come right out, and I can’t for the life of me, find where it goes again.
Can anyone shed any pointers?
The wire colours, I think, are purple/black and either green/black or brown/black.......I’m colourblind, and in certain lights have great difficulty with wiring colours!
My car is a RHD 2007 C220 CDi with auto air.
Cheers,
Graeme

Looking at the Pelican Parts website, it says that it is an a/c temperature sensor. According to the picture.
If obviously clips into a hole somewhere, where air passes thru, due to the foam pad around the edge.
If anyone has any schematics of the early W204 aircon system, and could tell me where it goes, I would be forever grateful!
