I am sure that I posted these pictures before...
Here's the key:

Door handle (note the crome on the upper portion):

Starter button (I still have to learn how to pop it off for manual override):

I think one can put the cap on a standard EIS too. It would not have any other functionality than blocking the standard key from the EIS though.
I did not check for the W204 but often the EIS is different for KG even if it looks the same.
The rest of the parts that are difficult to retrofit include the door locks and sensors and the wiring throughout the car. New antenna amplifier with related parts at the top of the rear window, interior/rear/door antennas, of course the KG control unit plus a lot that I've forgotten.
New keys of course and finally the car would need to be coded for KG. US workshops (official dealers) would unlikely be able to do that as they would not have the SCN coding option if the KG option cannot be added because of MBUSA policy.
I've seen some of the retrofit experts reporting this task performed (probably another car) but it would have to be their own car (where work hours do not count) or someone who would have the money to buy a new car with KG.

Yeah quite a few times actually, since when I let a family member use my car I'm too lazy to explain to them on how to start the car (press the brake..etc) lol

To put it back in, it just clips in

It's awesome and the start button is cool
