Hi,
I am new to this forum and just want to know your opinion. I live in New Zealand and now its getting hot here(weather), this morning, I started my car and after waiting 4-5 minutes as usual, I drove off, just a kilometer down the road, my car just made a very cranky noise and stalled while driving at sub 10km/h speed. After that, i could hear a loud cranky noise from the front left side inside the bonnet. Finally after 2 tries, it started back again and drove without any issues or warning messages/lights in the instrument cluster. I am spooked out now and want to know if this is normal or a disaster knocking at my door waiting to happen. PS I drive a 2009 W204 C200 Cdi that has done 132000kms. Please help!

Seeing its a diesel, could the quality of diesel(Ping knock) have something to do with it-?
-or something went wrong with the control of the injectors.
