Post W204 sight unseen auction purchase advice?

Good day

New member from South Africa.
I'm a Mercedes owner having owned a W203/4 and currently a 2018 w205 C250 CDI.

We have a popular auction sight called SMD and I have found a now reserve W204 C250 Coupe, with an auction that ends tomorrow morning.
The current bid is R47,000.00 - 3 031,10 United States Dollars - 2 561,05Euro and this makes sense to me as an additional car for my wife or a flip as they are worth a lot of money in good condition is South Africa.
We have a CarMax type dealer that will take the car off my hands if this doesn't work (still for more than what I will have in it - we have a very poor used car market and this will mean I will be offered decent money)

Anyways I need to know if what they were doing as it doesn't make sense to me at this point:
- what is the likely issues here as the glovebox is stripped - Beyond what's needed for the Blower Motor Resister Replacement

- There's no power to the car and therefore no understanding of if the car starts and/or runs
- Car is clean and looks looked after the bad sign is cheap tyres and one of the 18" inch AMG-Line Wheels in the boot with the space saver one.
- I can't view the car as they are closed over the weekend so can't view/I can buy and reject based on the condition as its a no reserve auction
- Please view the link to the auction listing - https://www.smd.co.za/vehicle/2012-m...upe-at/BCW661Q

- I've included some images of the car from the site... including the stripped glovebox and the parts removed.
Please advise what the likely issue/s are and what would be required to get this sorted and what they possibly were doing.
Car is marked as a bank repo and it's very common is SA for bank repo cars to have hidden traps as the owner is not keen on losing their car.

There's a pile of electronics in the passenger foot well that seems to be partially disassembled,
I would not touch it.

Do you have any idea what they could have been doing in that corner of the vehicle?

I've been super puzzled because it looks like there's some heavy repair that was underway.... I've found out that from a paid report its a 2 owner car the last milage noted at the last sale in 02/2020 was 89k km/55kmiles... so really not sure.
It disturbs me that there is no power to the vehicle.

Ngwenya don't buy a car with messed up electrical components, that's a recipe for disaster
